Newsbrief: 10 Police officers killed in ambush by militants in Afghanistan

A surprise attack by ISIS killed at least 10 police officers last Saturday in Afghanistan, according to New York Times.

The attack took place when the officers left a mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan.  The police commander’s wife was also killed when she rushed to the scene.

ISIS militants were known to be in the country, but recently started attacking and being active in the northern part of Afghanistan.
