Newsbrief: Security council diplomats to have lunch with Trump

President Trump is having 14 diplomats from around the world meet with him for lunch on Monday April 23rd, according to The New York Times.

All of the diplomats are members of the United Nations Security Council. Some of them will be representing Russia and China. Trump and his administration will be meeting with the diplomats about the ideas of international cooperation, the climate agreement, and the nuclear deal with Iran. They will also be talking about funding cuts to the United Nations.

There are diplomats who don’t agree with the Trump administration. It is expected to be an intense meeting because of arguments about the topics.

The meeting is expected to last 90 minutes.
