Ten Franklin Pierce students went horseback riding on Bobby’s Ranch in Westford, Massachusetts this past Saturday.

Eleven people signed up for the trip, but one did not attend.

Bobby’s Ranch has scenic western trails and has over 1500 acres of land. The horses are well trained and are very welcoming to their riders.

“Not only do participants get to have fun riding horses, but there is a number of goats, donkeys, chickens, and other farm animals running around that they enjoy playing with and petting before our ride begin,” said James Kozlowski, the Adventure Recreation Coordinator.

Participants were not required to wear a helmet when riding a horse. All safety equipment was available at the Ranch.

“This tends to be a very popular trip and we expect to have another trip early next semester,” said Doug Carty the Director of Recreation.
